Pre-sales there is always an agreement with the buyer about the way of transport.
Within the Netherlands (and often Belgium) Backsavers will be transported to the buyer by van Oirschot Roestvrijstaal B.V.
Transport by truck.
If the machine will stay within Europe, there is a preference for transport per truck. The machine will be attached to a euro-pallet and sealed in plastic film.
Transport by airfreight.
For air transport the machinery can be packed in special airfreight crates to protect and though be light. In this case the machine will be delivered exclusive of the needed battery. Leakage of battery acid can cause problems on board an aircraft!
Transport by sea freight.
For sea transport the machinery will be packed in special sea freight crates to protect against the robust handling with loading and unloading from aboard the ship. In this case the machine will be delivered exclusive of the needed battery. Leakage of battery acid can cause problems on board a ship!
Incoterms
In most of the cases there will be a transport agreement according to the International Commercial terms “Incoterms”. Standard there will be chosen for specifically “INCOTERMS 2010 EXW”.
Packing and documentation.
Packing of the Backsaver is our concern. We will also take care of all the forms and statements necessary for the transport to be arranged. (Think about pro-forma invoice, declarations about testing environments and so on.)
ISPM-15
If requested (for example for import to Australia and New-Zealand) there can be delivered an ISPM-15 declaration regarding the supplied wooden transport crate.
